Of course, iPhone 13 retains some defects: for example the charging times are still relatively long, especially compared to some Android devices, and the 120Hz display is missing, already present on board the Samsung flagship of early 2021: Apple has only put iton the pro version.Nonetheless, trying it by hand I can finally confirm it: the new iPhone 13 presents the best quality-price ratio of the entire line-up.
A similar result can be easily obtained even after taking the photographs, with the tools included in iOS15.However, the possibility of applying these ex-ante filters, and of seeing the preview result, is a pleasant news-as far as we certainly cannot speak of revolution.
The iPhone 13 is one of the few phones that can make me feel a true director when I turn the videos.All this thanks to the new Cinematic Mode, which adds depth of field to the shooting and automatically moves the focus depending on who or what is framed.During the presentation it might seem like a marketing gimmick, but it works really well and can also give an extra gear to amateur videos - as well as giving new opportunities to more expert creators.
Of course, the Cinematic Mode is not perfect, and especially in the iPhone 13 it is limited to the shooting in 1080p.But I find that it is still a very useful functionality that will arouse great interest, especially for videos to share on social networks such as Tiktok.The general quality of the videos on iPhone 13, like that of the photographs, is reconfirmed on the other hand excellent: parameters have been improved such as the reduction of noise and the HDR, in addition to having improved the semantic recognition of elements such as faces, the sky and much more.

Moving on to the benchmark, the General Performance test of Geekbench 5 has returned a result of 4129/1684, a sensitive improvement compared to the 3859/1593 of iPhone 12 and totally on another planet compared to 3302/1048 of the Galaxy S21.Also the graphics, tested with the 3dmark Wild Life benchmark are confirmed surprising, with a result of 55.9 fps that further improves the 51 fps recorded on iPhone 12.
The autonomy it deserves
On the Apple card, it guarantees an extra hour and half of autonomy more than iPhone 12, thanks to the battery and the improved display and the A15 Bionic chip.However, my test denied these data: the results are even better.
I tested the battery life of the new iPhone with intense use by browsing the internet under the 5G mobile network with the screen set at 150nit of brightness: in these conditions iPhone 13 resisted for 10 hours and 33 minutes, against 8 hours and 25 minutesof iPhone 12!Even without paying attention to energy saving, with iPhone 13 you can count on the whole day of autonomy, and you will hardly arrive in the evening with less than 10% of residual charge.Indeed, for those days when the phone is used, someone could even reach two days.
The only sore note is, once again, the charging speed.With the 20W Apple charger (recommended but not included in the package) the smartphone has in fact reached 51% of charge in half an hour, a decidedly mediocre result compared to other devices that support rapid charging as oneplus 9 pro.A slightly slower alternative but which I find very comfortable is instead the magnetic magnetic magnetic charger at 15W.

iPhone 13 is once again an excellent smartphone.The defects are very few and certainly all forgiving: the worst is perhaps a "not very fast" recharge, but you can still reach 100% more or less an hour, which is not bad.For the rest, the screen is among the best that can be found on the market today, the performances are unsurpassed, and the new functions dedicated to videos make iPhone 13 an even more useful and versatile companion, both for free time and forwork.
The real sore note is the price.iPhone 13 you can have from 939 euros, which are really many.It is not the most expensive smartphone ever, and wanting to watch are also "non -Apple" phones that cost more, but the absolute figure remains of those that are impressed in the mind.Many will take it thanks to loans and purchases in installments, but the fact remains that the differences compared to smartphones that cost 400-500 euros perhaps are not so many so many to justify a doubled price.
Having said that, if you have an iPhone 12 there are no real reasons to switch to iPhone 13.If instead you own an iPhone 11, an iPhone XR or a previous model, then iPhone 13 is an update that you will not regret.
