Apple has released two new versions of the operating systems for iPhone (iOS) and iPad (iPadOS) to solve bugs (present in the previous one) that are very dangerous for the security of customers, given the potential exposure to intrusions by potential hackers. This was confirmed by the American company itself, which announced the update of the two operating systems in order to protect the products from attacks that may already be underway.

Recently, Apple stated that in the penultimate versions iOS and iPadOS there were bugs that could be exploited by hackers to break into devices. The first step, therefore, is to check if version 14.4 is installed. Otherwise, the advice is to proceed with the installation of the aforementioned, so as to ensure protection.

The emerging bugs could be exploited by hackers in a chain with other bugs, even going so far as to gain control of devices or get their hands on the data within them. Apple has not explained in detail how security can be breached, such as whether it can be done remotely or whether physical access to devices is required.
The problem, however, is that in addition to reporting vulnerabilities, Apple has announced that it has received news that the reported flaws may have already been exploited to carry out attacks on smartphones and tablets.
