The giant of Cupertino, specifically, will begin to sell parts and tools and offer instructions on how to repair Apple products at home, without having to bring them to stores or third -party assistance points.
The program will apply to both iPhone and Mac, and initially users will be able to replace display, battery and iPhone camera (we will start with iPhone 12 and 13) and Mac with M1 chip.Subsequently, however, other models will also be added to the list.
"DIY repairs" will be available in the United States "at the beginning of next year", but then they will also expand to other countries.The company explains that the program is designed only for "technicians with knowledge and experience to repair electronic devices" and most customers should still contact professionals and experts.
Last week Apple had eliminated the protection system that deactivated the face ID on iPhone when replacing the screen with a non -original panel.
