The app in question is Tap Tap. It is not yet available on the Google Play Store so it will need to be downloaded externally from the XDA Developers forum. Although the app is still in a Beta version, it seems to work fine on most smartphones running Android 7 or higher.
Tap Tap not only enables the double tap function, but also allows you to set it to perform one operation instead of the other. In our case, we are interested in living it so that it is possible to take a screenshot quickly and easily.
So, the first step is to install the APK and start the application. Inside, the Accessibility service must then be enabled, disabled by default. To do this, just touch the appropriate item.
Once this is done, double-tap must be set by assigning a particular command. It is also possible to set the triple tap. We select the dedicated item, then on Add Action and then again on Actions. At this point we select the Screenshot item and then we establish the requirements for which the application will work.
Let's set that the command works only and exclusively if the display is on, by clicking on the Display On item. Eventually we can also change the touch sensitivity from the Sensitivity item.
