Remember that you can always use the search bar to search for photos in particular - take a peek at the three dots on the right of the bar if you want to access the Settings. Also know that at the top left there is a hamburger button with which you can bring up a menu with other additional options, many of which are aimed at storing photos. The words Settings also emerges, useful for accessing other features, among which the Backup, through which you can save the photos from the device in the cloud: consequently, if you change your mobile phone, you will find them all on the new one, as long as you have activated this function .
The Google Photos Backup has two options: a free one, which ensures unlimited space on high-quality but resized photos, and a premium one, which guarantees maximum quality, and therefore no loss of resolution on the original format. Google offers 15GB of its premium plan, after which, if you want more, you'll need to subscribe.
Backup is performed automatically when you are connected via Wi-Fi. You can also choose to do it with the mobile network, but beware, because the operation could consume a lot of data on your plan. Finally, we point out that you can install Google Photos on your Android device, even if it has another type of Gallery pre-installed. How? Look for it on the Play Store or click on the button below.
