No more root or applications to test in the hope that they will work. With the next EMUI update, if you have a Huawei or Honor smartphone it will be a breeze to be able to record calls with your smartphone. As noted by a user of the XDA forum ("virtual square" very frequented by independent Android developers), a utility to record calls will be included in the next version of the customization of the graphical interface developed by the Chinese manufacturer.
As mentioned, therefore, it will no longer be necessary to install third-party developer applications, nor to root your device. As already happens with Android smartphones from other manufacturers (such as Xiaomi, to name one), a few seconds will be enough to record phone calls received or made.
How to record calls with Huawei
In case you have an Honor or Huawei smartphone and want to record a call there is not much to do. All you have to do is wait for the new update of the Huawei graphic interface - usually distributed as a system update and therefore not downloadable from the Play Store - and check inside the app for calls.
To start recording, you must first initiate a call and, when the conversation is in progress, press the "Record" button. As seen in the screenshots released on XDA, the button should appear on the call screen and should be the first to the left of the top row. It is not yet known if this will be his final arrangement, but everything suggests that it will be so.
At the end of the call, the recording will be saved in the recorder folder: to listen to the conversation again, all you have to do is open the app and press on the file you just created.
