The second step requires scanning the QR code displayed on the new phone to establish the connection between both phones. Select “Allow” if a message appears asking for Wi-Fi authorization. After the connection is established, the new phone displays the message Connection successful, indicating that it is ready to receive data from the old one.

The Huawei procedure then provides that in the third phase, on the old phone, you touch App and data, selecting the data you want to transfer and make sure that Whatsapp is selected. Then go to “OK> Transfer”. On the new Huawei, tap Done when the transfer complete screen appears.
