If there is one annoying thing about the Google app, it is that although it is immediate to do a search directly from the widget on the home screen, then however the results touch to display them in the app's built-in browser, which lacks advanced navigation options and has a decidedly sparse interface.
However, things would soon be about to change: 9to5mac colleagues have in fact published a sequence of screenshots showing how Mountain View is working on a revision of the interface with which the browser of the Google app for Android is presented.
The novelties are currently limited to a small number of users who have joined the beta program (starting from version 11.43) of the application: the main one is certainly made up of the new lower navigation bar, with the convenient forward and back buttons, share and the one to open the context menu with the usual options (Open in Chrome, Find on page, Browser settings and Send feedback).
The bar at the top will instead contain the button for closing the page on the left, the one for bookmarks on the right, and the address bar in the center. And here the implementations that Google is studying stop: those hoping for some sign of a return of the Chrome-style tab will therefore be disappointed. In any case, from the settings it will be possible to activate the switch that allows you to open the search results directly in Chrome (HERE we tell you the latest news coming on the main browser, as well as on YouTube and Maps).
