But where does Archived mail go? Is it deleted or can I recover it? How many times have you had this doubt or read it on the internet? Today we want to clarify one of those particular Google choices that we find in Gmail. As many know by swyping on an email message in the inbox or any other folder, the email is not deleted but placed in an archive and labeled as Archived.
The mail disappears from the box or folder we are viewing and in fact it is as if it were deleted. In reality, the Mail and its content is always present, but to find it you need to click on the All Mail category under the draft space. All messages will be shown there, including archived ones.
Only in the All Mail section it will be possible to permanently delete the mail with a swype and at that point it cannot be recovered except from the trash.
