The Green Pass control procedure is quite simple, the "verifier" asks the citizen for certification (paper or digital), once the QR code VerificaC19 has been framed, he checks its validity. At this point, the app displays the general information of the citizen on the screen, who is required to show an identity document (valid) to cross-reference the data and complete the verification.
Who uses it?
The new VerificaC19 application is used by public officials and "verifiers", owners of commercial activities and services which can only be accessed in possession of a Green Pass. According to what is indicated in the recent decree, public bodies and event organizers are also obliged to allow access to facilities only to citizens who have been vaccinated, recovered or equipped with a negative swab carried out within the previous 48 hours.
To comply with current regulations and carry out the necessary checks, traders, restaurateurs and service providers are required to have a smartphone on which to install VerificaC19.
