Google has finally released Android 12: here are all the devices that will officially receive the update. Unfortunately, for Pixel phone owners, the OS version is not yet available and will continue to be so for several days. The Android developer blog has provided a release roadmap for BigG's handsets along with a tentative date for Samsung, OnePlus, OPPO, Realme, Vivo, Xiaomi and Tecno smartphones.

Of course, those who are part of the beta programs offered by participating OEMs can still try the update to Android 12 before it is officially phased out, but bugs are to be expected.
Regardless, this is a really weird way for Google to announce a new version of Android. New firmware updates from BigG typically roll out to Pixels as soon as AOSP is released.
The delay in the distribution of Android 12 can be attributed to the fact that it is one of the most significant updates in recent years, which adds a breath of fresh air to the operating system. This was possible thanks to Material You, a new design language that favors large rounded elements for better intuitiveness and a more captivating aesthetic. It is accompanied by a dynamic theme system that absorbs colors from the current wallpaper and "smears" them on supported apps.
Also new is the inclusion of sophisticated animations throughout the system, as well as Google apps. Added to this is the arrival of new widgets that have a more aggressive look and are more interactive than ever.

The South Korean OEM hasn't confirmed which phones will get the Android 12 update. But SamMobile has released a hypothetical list, which you can check out later. Keep in mind that the list is not final and that more devices could be added or removed in the coming weeks.
