First of all, you need to download SuperSU from the PlayStore by typing "SuperSU" in the search bar. Once the download is complete, open the application and click on the Start button. The application will only work if, as in this case, you have root permissions unlocked.

Now, go to the "Settings" screen located at the top right and look for the "Complete Unroot" item to clean for permanent unroot. Click on "Continue" when the warning appears on the screen and, once the operation is complete, restart your smartphone.

How to unroot Android

For all Nexus Root Toolkit devices there is a special tool that allows you to remove root permissions using your PC. First, connect to the official site and scroll down to the "Download" section. Choose whether to download via a direct download (Download via AndroidFileHost) or download via uTorrent (Torrent – ​​Magnet Link).

Once the download is complete, open the application and in the screen that opens to you, on the right, you will notice the "Flash Stock + Unroot" button. Below this button, declare the status of your smartphone, selecting "Soft-Bricked/Bootloop" if your device is having trouble turning on, or "Device is on/Normal" if you don't experience any problems.

Now connect the Nexus smartphone to the PC via USB and click on the "Flash Stock + Unroot" button to start the process to remove root and do not disconnect it for any reason at all, until the procedure is completed.

You just have to select the factory image to be flashed among those present and the tool itself will automatically download and then install it. You are also allowed to decide whether to delete all data and settings on your smartphone or whether to keep everything.
