The month of September 2021 kicks off with great news for the Iliad offer list. In fact, for the first time since its debut on the Italian market, the mobile operator allows existing customers to change offers. This operation is available free of charge and can be performed to activate the Giga 120 offer, the most complete tariff in the operator's price list and the only one that allows access to the 5G network.

How to activate Iliad's Giga 120 for existing customers of the operator
The procedure to follow in order to activate Iliad's Giga 120, if you are already a customer, is really very simple. The first thing to do is access the official Iliad website, available at iliad.it. Access can be performed both from a PC and from a smartphone (in this case, access will be made to the mobile version of the portal. To request a change of offer, it is necessary to access the Personal Area.
Both in the desktop and mobile versions of the Iliad site, the key to access the Personal Area is located at the top right. To log in, you must enter your Customer ID and Password. Anyone who does not remember their access data can click on the Retrieve your credentials option and follow the procedure to restore their access data and thus be able to use the Personal Area.
In the My Offer section of the Personal Area of the Iliad website there is now the new Offer Change option. Here it will be possible to change your offer and switch from the currently active tariff to the new Giga 120, available to all existing Iliad customers, regardless of the active tariff on your SIM. As noted earlier, switching plans is free.
Giga 120 will be active on the user's telephone number starting from the date on which the next monthly renewal of the currently active offer is set. This way, the customer will not lose any bonuses that have already been paid. Let's take an example for clarity. An Iliad customer who has activated the operator's first offer with 30 GB for 5.99 euros per month can now switch to the Giga 120 offer (which includes 120 GB in 4G and 5G for 9.99 euros).
The current offer will renew on September 15th. By requesting the offer change on 6 September, the new plan will be active from 15 September. There are no extra charges. On the occasion of the monthly renewal on 15 September, the amount of the new offer (9.99 euros) will be charged instead of that of the previous offer (5.99 euros) without extra costs.
Once the offer has been changed, it will not be possible to restore the previous rate.
Iliad 120 gigs: what the offer includes

The offer proposed by Iliad has no constraints and hidden costs. Giga 120 can count on a fixed and blocked price of 9.99 euros per month with debit on residual credit and without the need to set up payment by credit card or current account. There is a one-off activation fee of 9.99 euros (only for new customers, for existing customers the offer change is free).
For new customers, there are no restrictions on activating the offer. Giga 120 is, in fact, available for new customers with number portability (from any operator) or by requesting a new Iliad number. Costs and bonuses included do not change based on how the offer is activated)

With Giga 120 it is possible to take advantage of Iliad's 5G
One of the main reasons for switching Giga 120, both for existing Iliad customers and for new customers, is linked to the possibility of taking advantage of 5G. Iliad's new generation mobile network allows download speeds of up to 855 Mbps. 5G was launched in December 2020 and the operator's network is still constantly evolving, with coverage increasing week by week , to the benefit of users.

Currently, Iliad only offers iPhones to be purchased in installments with a price list made up of different models, including the most recent iPhone 12.
To buy a smartphone in installments with Iliad, you must have been an Iliad customer for at least 3 months. The purchase can be made directly from the Iliad website, by logging in with your account and visiting the smartphone section. Smartphones can be purchased in installments using a credit card or debit card as a payment method.
The offers with Iliad's smartphone included have no restrictions of any kind. The customer can switch to another operator at any time. The remaining installments will continue to be charged to the payment method chosen by the customer when activating the installment offer.
