LG will unveil the Lifestyle TV range at CES 2022, scheduled for January 5-8 in Las Vegas. We have already talked about these products recently: the collection is in fact made up of the LG Object model, code name 65Art90, presented last week in Korea, and of the LG StandbyME, code name 27Art10, already available for some time on the domestic market. The two products will therefore not remain confined to Korea but will also arrive in the West and we assume, given the spread of the press release, also in Italy.
The raison d'être of Lifestyle TVs is the same that led to the creation of various Samsung TVs, such as The Frame, The Serif, The Sero and The Terrace, without forgetting The Premiere projectors. It is a proposal conceived with a different design, more suitable to integrate with the environment. LG Object is strongly characterized by the front cover in Kvadrat fabric, an element that is not fixed but capable of sliding on the screen with the simple press of a button on the remote control. When the TV is switched off, the cover reveals only a small portion of the display; the user can take advantage of this configuration, called Line View, for some functions such as playing music or to consult information such as weather forecast and time.
LG Object (65Art90)In Full View mode, the motorized cover slides down to fully reveal the screen, so you can use the 65Art90 like any other TV. The equipped panel is a 65 "Ultra HD OLED updated with the improvements present on the OLED evo, that is the G1 series marketed in 2021. We remind you that the wording" OLED evo "indicates not only the innovations made to increase the luminous efficiency but also the optimizations applied by the fourth generation Alpha 9 processor with artificial intelligence. The audio section, hidden behind the fabric cover, is made up of a 4.2-channel system with a total output of 80 W.
LG StandbyME (27Art10)
Among the functions proposed there is also the Gallery mode, designed to display a collection of images, thus transforming the television into a sort of piece of furniture that recalls works of art. When you set the Gallery mode in the Line View setup, the TV will automatically switch to Full View. LG Object allows you to change the fabric cover by choosing between beige, red and green. The installation provides two different options: flush with the wall using an optional accessory or placed against the wall with an inclination of up to 5 degrees (to recall the works of art even more). The back is equipped with compartments and recesses to hide the cables from view.
LG StandbyME (27Art10)LG StandbyME was instead designed to offer a portable entertainment center. It is a 27 "IPS type LCD with Full HD resolution. Its peculiarities, however, have nothing to do with mere technical data. To differentiate the 27Art10 from all the other products in the LG range are the floor base Adjustable in height, inclination and with the possibility of orienting the TV also vertically. On the lower side there are 5 wheels that allow you to easily move the TV from one room to another. It is not even necessary to connect to the mains: there is it is in fact an integrated battery that guarantees up to 3 hours of operation.
LG StandbyME (27Art10)The possibilities offered are many: the screen is touch and there is Mobile Screen Mirroring, a function that allows you to send content from Android and iOS smartphones using the combination with NFC. A detachable stand allows you to place your phone side by side for a quick solution for video calls, video conferencing or online lessons. Of course there is no shortage of USB ports, HDMI and there is also support for wireless connection of PCs and notebooks. We close with a note on the design: the finish is beige with a fabric lining on the back side. When not used to watch content, LG StandbyME can display artwork, photographs or a calendar with clock.
