After the euphoria deriving from the launch on the market of the new top of the range foldable Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, which are already selling very well, Samsung returns to beating on phones "for ordinary people": the Galaxy A52s has also arrived in Italy 5G, a slightly revised version of the Galaxy A52 that fits into the mid-range of the market.
The difference between the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A52s is only in the chip used: the first smartphone is equipped with Qualcom Snapdragon 750G, the second is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. The latter is basically a low-cost version of the Snapdragon 888, Qualcomm's top of the 2021 range that equips most of this year's flagship smartphones. Switching from one chip to another should lead to substantial performance improvements for the Samsung medium which, to be honest, with the 778 so medium is no longer. The price, however, fortunately remains below 500 euros and this makes the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G a very interesting phone.

In addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip, the new Samsung phone stands out for the 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD + screen, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The memory is in the two classic cuts of 2021: 6/128 GB and 8/256 GB, with the possibility of expanding the storage space via microSD.
The photographic sector is the same already seen on Galaxy A52: four rear cameras from 64 + 12 + 5 + 5 MP (the main sensor has optical stabilization), with a good wide angle. The front camera is very defined: it has a 32 MP sensor.
The battery is also good, from 4,500 mAh, but the recharge stops at 25 Watts as per Samsung tradition, which is still reluctant to adopt really fast charging systems. To mention the IP67 water resistance.

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is therefore a phone with an excellent technical data sheet, with abundant power for all the apps, a good battery and a photographic compartment able to satisfy the needs of the average user more than well.
The list price is 469 euros, about 100 euros less than the Galaxy A52. Not very low but in line with Samsung's commercial policy and, in any case, for the launch period it is possible to have a discount of 70 euros by buying it on the official Samsung website and entering the code GALAXY70.
