Samsung Galaxy A52S 5G is certainly one of the 2021 company's phones with the best quality-price ratio.Lately users have spilled on the official Samsung community forum to report a problem relating to the display.
Galaxy A52S would have a bug that makes the display too bright
According to what was reported on the forum, the display is too bright when the charging information is shown with the screen off, creating the impression that there is a backlight.This, however, is technically incorrect since the Galaxy A 52S is equipped with a Super AMOLED display and the AMOLED panels have no backlight.The pixels light up or mitigate individually, which is one of the major strengths of this type of technology, which makes the AOD (Always-on display) possible.
The members of the community suggest that it is a problem related to a version of the firmware and not to hardware (which makes sense to see how the AMOLED panel works).Unfortunately there are no images relating to the problem on the net so it is not clear how bright the device is.
Samsung has included A52S between the devices that will receive One UI 4.0 and Android 12, which should be launched in February.If the company should recognize this problem, it could definitively solve it by including a fix in the next major update or a subsequent one.
