The Korean company has recently issued a notice through its application dedicated to the community called Samsung members.Galaxy smartphones that will be updated to the new version of the operating system with One UI 4 interface.0 will lose a function present within the telephone application.
The Samsung Places service, launched by the brand in collaboration with Hiya on the occasion of the arrival on the Samsung Galaxy S8 market, allowed users to search and contact shops, restaurants and many other activities without ever having to leave the telephone dialer.
Samsung Places: which smartphone will stop working on?
As Samsung recalls on the page dedicated to the announcement, Samsung Places is already not present on Galaxy smartphones presented starting from January 1, 2021, regardless of the version of Android or One UI installed on board.With the update to One UI 4.0, however, the products that previously could still access Samsung Places will lose the opportunity to exploit this useful feature.
