On the occasion of the Samsung Developer Conference 2021 (SDC 2021), Samsung has announced many news about software and services. In the list of the most relevant announcements, the Tizen TV Platform Lensing, a platform created to grant third parties the use of the operating system present on the Coreo giant's smart TVs.

The opening to external partners follows the same way already undertaken by LG for its webos. The license is provided with a minimum defined cost and allows all those who request it to promote their televisions by exploiting the Tizen brand.Samsung said that the license includes the whole package included on their Smart TVs: partners will be able to offer the same features, access to all services available for the platform and all the contents.

There is obviously talk of most of the offer available in streaming, such as Apple TV+, Disney+, Netflix, first videos, Spotify, YouTube, Now, Dazn etc..Although it has not been directly mentioned, we suppose that the license also covers Samsung TV Plus, the aggregator of free content on all the models launched after 2016.
