Samsung Galaxy A72: What does the new update bring?
Last month, Samsung released the October 2021 security update for dozens of Galaxy smartphones and tablets, but the Galaxy A72 was absent from all 'appeal. The South Korean company has now released the security patch for the aforementioned mid-range in many of the markets where it is sold.
The latest update for the midrange features firmware version A725FXXU4AUJ2 and includes the October 2021 security patch. According to the company's documentation, the security patch fixes more than 60 privacy and security vulnerabilities found in smartphones and Galaxy tablets. The update may also contain device stability improvements and general bug fixes.

Just go to the Settings menu and click on Software update; finally, you will have to press Download and install.

Just to refresh your memory, the South Korean OEM had launched the Galaxy A72 earlier this year alongside the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G. The phone shipped with Android 11-based One UI 3.0 and will receive three major Android OS updates.
Let's wait for the new One UI 4 skin, currently under testing for the Galaxy S21 and the brand's foldables. Probably, the new version of Android 12 and related UI will arrive on the A72 mid-range only in 2022. We await a rollout for spring next year.
